1. Trim Before Every Burn

Trim the wick to approximately 5 mm before lighting. This helps promote a steadier flame and reduces excess soot.

2. Let the Wax Melt Evenly

On the first burn, allow the melted wax to reach close to the edges of the container, where practical. This helps reduce tunnelling. Follow the candle's recommended burn time.

3. Choose a Safe Spot

Place your candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from curtains, paper, fans, children, pets, and drafts.

4. Extinguish With Care

Use a candle snuffer if available. Never leave a burning candle unattended, and let the wax cool before moving it.

5. Keep It Fresh

Once completely cool, cover your jar candle with its lid, if provided, and store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
